Imperial Brands launches three new flavors of Polish vodka

DBR Staff Writer Published 29 September 2010

Imperial Brands, a Florida-based importer and marketer of wines and spirits, has introduced three new flavors of Sobieski vodka, a Polish vodka which is produced exclusively at the Starogard Gdanski distillery in Poland.

The three new flavors of Sobieski vodka - Orange, Karamel and Raspberry - join the current flavor line-up of the vodka brand Cytron and Vanilia.

The new flavored vodkas, like the brand's previous versions, are also said to be made using Dankowski rye at the Polish distillery.

Sobieski Karamel has a milky tone and has been paired with cream liqueurs or with coffee. The Raspberry from Sobieski boasts a good mix of vodka and real fruit. Sobieski Orange is said to come with the blend of the fruit's sweet and sour tang with a citrus scent.

Imperial Brands VP marketing & business development Timo Sutinen said that with great success resulting from introducing Cytron and Vanilia last year, the company is diving deeper into the flavors market, and anticipate very positive results from the launch of these both popular and novel flavors.

Sobieski Orange, Sobieski Karamel and Sobieski Raspberry vodkas are available across the US at the suggested retail price of $10.99 per 750ml.
