Imperial Brands To Launch 4 Orange Vodka In New Markets Across US

DBR Staff Writer Published 16 May 2010

Imperial Brands, a Florida based importer and marketer of fine wines and spirits, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Belvedere, has said that the company will roll out its 4 Orange Premium Vodka in several new markets in the US over the next three months.

The new markets where the orange vodka will be available include California, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Massachusetts, Illinois, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, and Colorado. 4 Orange Vodka is available in 750ml and 1l sizes.

The company claims that 4 Orange Premium is a super-premium vodka distilled exclusively from Florida oranges such as Hamlin, Parson Brown, Temple, and Valencia. The distillation takes place at Florida Distillers Company.

According to Imperial Brands, each 750ml bottle of 4 Orange Vodka contains approximately twenty Florida oranges. The company further claims that the spirit is gluten free and 80-proof.

4 Orange Vodka, which was launched in October 2009 in Florida, has been available at select retailers, restaurants and bars in the state. The brand's national launch will include a full print, sampling event and social media brand campaign.

Chester Brandes, president and CEO of Imperial Brands, said: 4 Orange was extremely well-received in its home state of Florida because it was a unique new spirit that defied the category norm while simultaneously benefitting the environment.

“Florida has redefined vodka with its iconic oranges the way the French defined wine with their grapes, and we are looking forward to sharing this groundbreaking new spirit with additional consumers.
