Jack Daniel’s Unveils New Ready-to-Drink Cocktails In Canada

DBR Staff Writer Published 20 April 2010

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey has introduced its new line of whiskey-based ready-to-drink cocktails in Canada. These cocktails will be offered in three varieties: Jack & Cola, Jack & Lemonade and Jack & Iced Tea.

All varieties are available in four-packs of 355ml cans at a suggested retail price of $10.95. In addition, Jack & Cola will also be offered in a 473ml single can at a suggested retail price of $3.25.

Jeremy Shepherd, Canada country manager for Brown-Forman, parent company of Jack Daniel’s, said: “The smooth taste of Jack Daniel’s paired with our customers’ favorite flavours results in a series of beverage offerings in a convenient format.”

The company claims that the distinctive taste of Jack Daniel’s results from its unique charcoal mellowing process during which every drop of whiskey passes slowly through hard maple charcoal and is then matured in charred white oak barrels.

Based in Lynchburg, Tennessee, the Jack Daniel Distillery is the maker of Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey, Gentleman Jack Rare Tennessee Whiskey and Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey.
